Sharon G. Richardson, LCSW-C received her education and training through the University of Maryland (College Park), the University of Maryland at Baltimore, Howard University, and the University of Maryland School of Medicine, as well as a current program through George Washington University. She has since worked within the field of social work in diversified arenas, including, but not limited to, case management, individual and family psychotherapy, foster care and adoptions, and crisis stabilization, through direct clinical interventions and treatment. Sharon has extensive training practical experience in treating trauma, depression, anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD/ADD, problem gambling, and school-related issue. She has also worked within employee assistance program (EAP) model which has included assessment and short-term counseling, disaster event management and critical incident debriefing (CISD), and mental health and wellness presentations in workplace settings. Since 2005, Sharon has acted as a board-approved Supervisor under the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. In addition to her clinical work, she continues to engage in continuing education (CEU) training as well as cutting-edge opportunities to further advance her provision of the above services.
