Expertise

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and supporting individuals through complex and often overwhelming life circumstances. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship and family challenges, self-esteem concerns, emotional dysregulation, identity concerns, and periods of feeling stuck or uncertain about what comes next.

My approach to therapy is integrative, person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. Depending on each client’s unique needs, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, supportive therapy, and meaning-centered and existential approaches.

My therapeutic style is warm, curious, practical, and nonjudgmental. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I seek to understand the whole person—their experiences, culture, relationships, values, strengths, and the meaning they make of what they have lived through.

For me, therapy is not only about reducing symptoms. It is about helping people understand themselves more deeply, build practical coping and emotional regulation skills, recognize their strengths, find meaning in their experiences, and discover a path forward with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.
