About Me: I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 8 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s complex emotional landscapes. My practice specializes in anxiety, PTSD, major life transitions such as grief, divorce, pre- and post-marital counseling, couples counseling, and exploring relationship dynamics. I work primarily with adults and young adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed by self-criticism, or disconnected from their true goals.

My Approach & Modalities: Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I integrate evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster psychological flexibility, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a blend of cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness principles to help people manage intense emotions, self-destructive behaviors, and difficult relationships.

Philosophy & Style: I view therapy as a collaborative, highly personalized partnership. My style is warm, grounded, and active—you won’t just get a nod and a silence; you’ll get structured insights, genuine reflection, and practical tools you can use outside our sessions. I believe that symptoms like anxiety or burnout are rarely flaws; they are often protective strategies that served a purpose in the past but are no longer working for you now.

My “Why”: I chose this path because I deeply believe in the human capacity for growth and resilience. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a client move from merely surviving to actively thriving—reclaiming their voice, setting healthy boundaries, and building a life that feels like them.
