Fredericka Jim is a therapist with Baltimore Counseling Center, providing crisis management,
family/couples therapy, and individual therapy. She’s been practicing since 2017, specializing in
anxiety, depression, and stress related issues. She’s worked in various mental health settings
such as, non-profits organizations, clinics, schools, in the community, etc. A major part of her
work has been with anxiety and anger management, helping clients develop coping skills to
reduce stress and improve self esteem.
Fredericka has a Master of Arts degree in Social Work and is licensed to provide therapeutic
services in the state of Maryland. She is trained in DBT, CBT, MI, and ACT.
Fredericka has been a therapist for the past 7.5 years, mainly based in Louisiana. She
addresses various mental health issues making sure to focus on psychoeducation, self
awareness, and coping strategies. In providing services, Fredericka has engaged in case
management services, understanding the necessity for resources and is culturally competent,
having the ability to work with diverse populations with an emphasis on low income and at risk
communities.
